Board of Trustees Meeting

September 17, 2009


The meeting was called to order by Pat Beiermann, President.

Present:     P. Beiermann, C. McMillen , M. Brown, P. Stemmley, L. Gunderson, R. Hellemeyer

Absent:     E. Hauser

Also present:     Mary Brewster, Library Director; Kevin and Stacy McRae, Accountants.


The minutes of the meeting of August 20, 2009 were approved as written.


Motion 1:  It was moved by L. Gunderson and seconded by C. McMillen that bills in the amount of $33,310.42 be paid.

Ayes:  P. Beiermann, C. McMillen , M. Brown, P. Stemmley, L. Gunderson, R. Hellemeyer

Nayes:  none

Absent:  E. Hauser


REPORTS

The Financial report was presented by Kevin and Stacy McRae. (See file)

Discussed Illinois Funds money market interest rate.

Check other financial institutions - Kevin McRae will report back on options.

The Librarian's report (See file)

Discussed Madison County Youth @ Work program.

NEW BUSINESS

Reviewed Administrative Ready Reference.

Reviewed the Illinois Library Laws and Rules.


Motion 2:  It was moved by P. Beiermann and seconded by R. Hellemeyer that the board go into Executive session to discuss personnel issues.

The board came out of Executive session at 8:05 p.m.


The meeting was adjourned by P. Beiermann at 8:05 p.m.
